**BREAKING NEWS**

As the host of the Arts and Entertainment segment on Global Culture TV, Sindy is excited to announce that the show has been nominated for a Dotty Award in several categories. It is an honor and great pleasure to be recognized by her peers, the viewers and community for the work that she's done with Global Culture TV and the Bowie Community Media Corporation. The entire cast and crew will be in attendance at the 6th Annual Dotty Awards on May 24th, 2012.
 


UPCOMING
  • August 2012 - Sindy is honored and very excited to be traveling to her hometown in Trinidad & Tobago to serve as one of the international judges at the runway model casting call for the RED RUNWAY fashion show in October 2012.
ONGOING
  • As the host of Global Culture TV, Sindy continues to interview numerous artists for the arts and entertainment segment in which she helps produce.

  • Sindy continuously freelances in production (mostly Television, Theatre and live events) and has worked with SELF Magazine, the Style Network, LOGO, VH1 and currently National Geographic. 

RECENT
  • Sindy has been repeatedly featured as a fashion model for the Nate Berkus Show on NBC but in the beginning of Spring 2012, Sindy modeled there for the last time as the SONY/HARPO produced show was not picked up for another season.

  • The 2011/2012 winter months proved to be very busy for Sindy. She walked as a runway model in the hair show at the unveiling of Sanata International Magazine Volume IV, where she is featured with a full page spread. Then she performed onstage with Concrete Temple Theatre where she portrayed a rebellious Haitian slave in the play "The Emperor of Haiti" as a part of the Langston Hughes Festival at CCNY. 

  • Semi-annually, Sindy participates in the staged readings of brand new screenplays at the graduation ceremony for  the New York Film Academy's screenwriting program. 

  • Annually, Sindy serves as the model coordinator and assists in casting runway models for the Global Culture Fashion expo.
